Petunia City Quilt Guild is offering a Petunia Challenge as one of the activities in 2026.

Cherrywood Hand Dyes has given Petunia City Quilt Guild a generous discount on their fabric to make a Petunia Challenge possible in 2026.

If you wish to participate and did not obtain one of the kits distributed in Dec/Jan, or you would like more of a certain color, you can purchase 1/2 yard pieces online at Cherrywood Fabrics.

The colors selected for this challenge are:

Moss 0650 (light green) Lizard 0620 (dark green) Violet 1130 (dark pink) Clover 1150 (light pink)

The theme for this challenge is PETUNIAS, so please make your wall hanging with that theme in mind, following the parameters below:

• Finished Size 20″ x 20″
• Use the fat quarters provided (additional fabrics may also be used)
• Add a label on the back with your name on it
• Completed project is due by the June 1, 2026 regular Petunia City Quilt Guild meeting.

Our hope is that we can display these beautiful works of art at the Petunia Festival in July, 202, as well as possibly a few additional locations. We also want to get the word out about our guild to increase membership.
