Make Your Own Project Board

Karen Behrens presented how to make your own Project Board from foam core board and use leftover binding and batting pieces. The pdf listed here are the directions you may download if you did not attend the meeting and would like to try making on your own.

Foam core board can be found at office supply type stores or craft stores. Karen recommends using a size 16 needle in your sewing machine to prevent breakage.

Foam core can be cut with a rotary cutter to any size you wish. It is helpful to have multiple sizes to keep track of placement of blocks as you are working on your quilt projects. Size them to fit inside your project boxes to help keep pieces organized.
