Scarecrows to Start 2020

Our program in February was provided by Roxanne, one of our members, and we made scarecrows! These reminded us that our quilt show is coming this October, the theme is Scarecrows to go with the city’s theme that weekend, and also the theme for our challenge project.

We were all fortunate to be given kits that Roxanne made up from her wool stash. The pieces were traced already onto fusible webbing. We cut them out, ironed on, and learned the stitching if needed.

Everyone enjoyed visiting as we worked around the tables. It was fun to have this extra time after our long winter break since last meeting in the beginning of December.

It was great that the weather cooperated and we could meet in February.
