Extra April Quilts

We had so many things to show everyone after our long winter and long time away from each other!

A Frank Lloyd Wright image inspired her to piece the center row of blocks. Tiny pieces!! The rest of the blocks are actually panel fabric and they work perfectly to highlight her lovely pieced blocks!
Hexagons fussy cut from printed fabric gave the most wonderful illusion to this quilt! We were all in awe of how she did this. I was busy with Zoom so didn’t catch all her sharing.
Look at this collection of zippered pouches with clear sides so you know what you have for your project! Darling fabrics as well.
A modern quilt – creator’s original design.
Lightning Bugs – I’m so ready for summer!!
(detail) Won’t it be fun to have them flying in the evenings again!
This is a wonderful use of a spring panel fabric with the jumbo half-square triangle made from quarter-square triangles!
(detail) The quilting on here is fantastic!! Hand quilted swirls and I see tiny seed beads! Just perfectly accents the images!

We hope to see you the first Monday in May at 6:30 p.m. for our next meeting. We have a local favorite quilter, former shop owner, coming to share about her Featherweight machine collection and her full memory of their history. Don’t we all love our FWs!
