Six members were able to attend the Edna Jane workshop held October 2, 2023 led by Jill Shaulis from Yellow Creek Quilt Designs. It was fun to see the variety of quilt fabrics chosen by each member. Jill shared some great hints, in particular, one related to squaring up hourglass blocks that are 1 7/8″!! This hint will be very useful in the future!!

Each member was able to complete at least one of the crown blocks and one of the courthouse steps blocks, although Kenda, who had worked at home on them before class, was able to complete four of each!!! It was great to see the pattern taking shape on this very intense layout.

A challenge was issued at the meeting to see who can be done by our November meeting!
